“Things I Will Keep” is one of my top favorite GBV songs of all time, which is a tough list to whittle down (as we all know). It also features my favorite guitar solo by Doug Gillard. “Cheyenne” and “Slick As Snails” are also top contenders, and I think that what they all have in common is the singability of them; they’re all very melodic and well-composed.
